2016 was a roller coaster for me. I had one really good "high moment". But of course, what goes up eventually comes down. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why this was so. Later, I realized that whenever I set a goal and achieve it; if there isn't another goal lined up to maintain momentum, things eventually fall and crumble. You become depressed, frustrated and lost because you are at a solid standstill. I call this the "Idle Trap".
After I finished my first solo exhibition, I instantly fell into the Idle Trap. I had no idea what I was going to do next. But the good news is it's not a permanent thing! I briefly explain my experience in the video below:
